Mandatory certification of cement: first steps

The article is devoted to mandatory certification of cements effective in Russia since March 7, 2016. Its basic principles as defined by GOST R 56836-2016 "Conformity assessment. Cement Certification Rules" are listed. The certification process set by this regulatory document is described. Today more than 300 certificates of conformity for cements are registered in the registry of RusAccreditation.
Almost all cement plants of Russia and most of theimporters of cement are currently involved in the process of mandatory certification of cements.
