On improving the system of control of emissions from cement production

In the article the basic avenues for improving the state control system of regulation of pollutant emission into the air are considered. The key provisions of the recently adopted laws and regulations governing the allocation of facilities with a negative impact on the environment to one of four categories; environmental requirements for cement plants, depending on their assignment to a particular category of facilities; issues related to the use of the best available technologies (BAT); the list of pollutants subject to measures of state regulation in the field of environmental protection, etc. are presented. The details of the particulate composition of the dust contained in the gases at different stages of cement production are also discussed.
