Inerting systems for preventive explosion proofing of coal grinding plants

The article outlines the theoretical basis for inerting coal-air mixtures produced in grinding coal, transportation and storage of coal dust in cement factories. Industrial inerting installations by Yara (Germany) are described, using inert atmosphere of carbon dioxide and nitrogen in coal mills, coal silos and other fuel preparation facilities.
