Reconstruction of the process line facilities at OOO Atakaycement

The article describes the project of reconstructing several key sections of the dry process production line at OOO Atakay-Cement, and a flow diagram of the line after the completion of the project is demonstrated. All main equipment for reconstruction was supplied by FLSmidth (Denmark), the general designer was AO NTC "CEMENT" (Ukraine). In place of the dismantled shaft-cyclone preheater a double-string four-stage cyclone preheater was installed in the existing tower. For the first time in the Russian cement industry the exhaust gases from gas-fueled reciprocating power plant were used to dry the raw meal. Reconstruction was completed in September 2016, and now the company has reached the design capacity - 1250 tons of clinker per day. The performance characteristics match those of the design, or exceed them.
