Increasing the service life of intermediate partitions of cement mills

Causes of rapid deterioration of intermediate partitions of cement ball mills, typical for most cement plants in Russia, are discussed in the paper. Operation and service life of the most common types of intermediate partitions used in Russia are explained, as well as shortcomings associated with imperfections in their design and the wrong choice of steel grades used for manufacture. The ways out of this situation are proposed
