The importance of adapting the existing standard objectives and practices of cement producing companies to the local conditions is discussed in the paper. The need to shape an original approach of the engineer to the formulation and solution of practical problems is emphasized, that is why the experience gained when working in production that helps to take into account the specifics of the operation becomes extremely important
