Construction sector in the Baltic states

Data on construction and commissioning of new housing in the Baltic States in 2011-2016 are given. It is expected that the building sector as a whole will be revived in all of these countries in 2017 after the decline in 2014-2016. The total floor area of the newly built housing in 2016 went down significantly as compared to 2015 in Latvia and noticeably grew in Lithuania and Estonia.
