Modern refractory materials to increase the durability of thermal systems lining

Issues of optimizing the service life of refractory lining of thermal systems in the cement industry through using high-quality molded and unmolded refractory materials produced by Spanish Refractarios Especiales S.A. (Refracta) are under discussion. Using the examples of their individual brands, the ways of increasing the lining resistance in various units are shown, in particular, in a rotary kiln, cyclone preheater, clinker cooler. The Refracta product line is presented, the main characteristics and applications of the products being described. Case studies of the materials being used in Portland cement clinker production lines are offered. Estimates of the service life of Refracta products in different areas of thermal systems are given.
