Recycling the polypropylene sack production waste
Russian packaging producer Kazanskiy Zavod Sovremennoy Upakovki (KZSU) ensures low-waste cement sack production by recycling and reusing the sack production waste. The company produces AD*STAR block bottom valve sacks which are made of coated woven polypropylene tape fabric. The polypropylene waste generated during production is recycled in a Starlinger recoSTAR universal recycling line and then reused in sack production. KZSU benefits from the reduced costs for raw material and waste treatment. The energy-efficient design and high system availability of the recoSTAR recycling line additionally contributes to cost savings.Author: S. Eder |
