Benefits of 4G separators for upgrading grinding lines

The main design features and advantages of high-efficiency 4G XP4® separators from Magotteaux S.A. (Belgium) are described. Examples of modernization of grinding lines with XP4® separators are given. In particular, the project of reconstruction of a ball cement mill transferring it to a closed-circuit operation at AO Sebryakovcement is reviewed in detail. The project allowed to expand the range of cements produced at this mill and improve its performance. For example, the capacity of the mill in the production of CEM I 42.5N cement increased by 22%.
