Cement industry in Spain.

In 2018, Spain has 9 holding companies, which comprise 33 full-cycle cement plants of the country. After the worst crisis in the history of the Spanish cement industry that began in 2008, when cement consumption fell by 80%, the growth resumed in 2017. Spain is currently the largest exporter of cement in the EU and the 8th largest exporter of this material in the world.
