Pyrotex® KE filter elements: gas cleaning from dust at high temperatures and reducing NOx emissions.

One of the worlds leading manufacturers of industrial gas cleaning materials, BWF Envirotec, headquartered in Offingen, Germany, has developed and launched a new line of ceramic filter elements marketed as Pyrotex® KE. These elements, made of calcium-magnesium-silicate fibers safe for humans, can operate at temperatures up to 850°C and provide dust concentration in the cleaned gases of not more than 1 mg/Sm3. Their advantages over needle-punched filter bags also include a long service life, stable performance, cost-effective consumption of compressed air and energy, and they can be used simultaneously to reduce dust and NOx emissions.
