Waste heat recovery at Sherabad cement plant.

Turkish DAL Teknik Makina Ticaret ve Sanayi AS, which is part of Dal Engineering Group, under a contract with AO Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant, built a dry process cement plant with a production capacity of 1.5 Mta of Portland cement in the Sherabad district (Surkhandarya region) of the Republic of Uzbekistan The plant was commissioned in September 2018. Together with the project of the Sherabad plant, another project was developed, of waste heat utilization for power generation. To date, the construction of the power plant has been completed and its testing is underway. The article describes this plant.
