On December 26, 2018 OOO South Ural Mining & Processing Company (YUGPK) announced the purchase of 77% of the voting shares of PAO Gornozavodsk-Cement. Both plants with a total annual production capacity of more than 4 Mt of cement became part of the Akkermann cement group of companies.
