Build-ups and blockages: prevention the deterrent

A descaling system developed by Cardox International, called Cardox and using liquid CO2 under high pressure, is becoming increasingly common in cement production. Currently, Cardox tubes are installed in approximately 120 cement plants, including those owned by the world's largest manufacturers of the material. Recently, the system has been modified: the company supplied it with a nozzle made of heat-resistant steel with several outlets for CO2, which allows it to reduce build-ups formation. Tests have confirmed the effectiveness of the new design for the prevention of scale build-ups and blockages.
