Structure and properties of nanomodified no-fines concrete with ultrasonic cavitation-treated aggregate
The paper presents the results of a study of the structure and physical mechanical properties (medium density, compressive strength and water absorption) of no-fines lightweight concrete made from a mixture of Portland ce- ment, a complex nanodispersed additive and water with cavitation-treated porous aggregate. The effectiveness of combined use of the complex nanodispersed addi- tive based on highly active metakaolin obtained by the sonochemical method and cavitation-treated expanded clay to increase compressive strength and reduce water absorption of no-fines concrete is shown.Author: N.P.
