Russian cement industry in 2019

The article analyzes the state of the cement industry in Russia in 2019. Cement production in that year (57.7 Mt) was 7.6% higher than in 2018. The capacities of new plants of dry and combined processes were put into operation. The share of cement produced by the industry with these methods amounted to 59.3% - more than the share produced by the traditional wet method in Russia, but it is 0.5 percentage points less than in 2018.
The main technical and economic performance indicators of the industry are given: the volumes of production, consumption, export and import of cement, specific energy consumption, structure of consumed fuel, used natural raw materials and industrial materials, price and cost behavior in the production and product sales by cement companies.
