Dome-shaped warehousing complexes for bulk materials

Designs and main advantages of monolithic dome-shaped warehouses for storing bulk and semi-finished products are described, in comparison with bulk warehouses of traditional design. In particular, the area occupied by warehousing complexes with dome-shaped warehouses is less than for complexes with truss warehouses of similar capacity; construction time is shorter; investment and operating costs are lower. In recent years, Russia has begun an active transition to the construction of complexes with dome-shaped warehouses as part of industrial sites and transshipment terminals.
