Improving the design of air mechanisms of pneumatic chamber pumps

The new design of the air mechanism for pneumatic chamber pumps (PCP), designed to work as a part of pneumatic conveying lines of fine-grained bulk materials is described, differing from the known ones by being simpler. In the proposed design, the number of air elements uniformly spaced along the entire cross-section of the chamber at certain bending and turning angles is substantially increased. As the nozzles become located closer to one another, the volume of stagnation zones between them decreases and the uniformity of cement distribution in the aerated zone increases. This mechanism can improve the efficiency of the PCP and reduce the specific consumption of compressed air.
