Efficient operation of flue gas cooling systems in air conditioning towers

Main factors of the effective performance of flue gas cooling systems with complete water evaporation are considered. An example of the modernization of the flue gas cooling system at a dry process plant with products and technologies from Lechler GmbH (Germany) is given. This project made it possible to increase the level of cooling under conditions of an unchanged evaporation distance, which significantly increased the efficiency of electrostatic precipitators and reduced dust emissions by 7.5%.
