Construction markets in Southeast and Eastern Europe

The countries of Eastern (Russia, Turkey and Ukraine) and South-Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia) are members of the Eastern European Construction Forecasting Association (EECFA). The article presents data on the GDP and construction trends in these states and forecasts for 2020-2021. In 2020, construction volumes are expected to decline in most of these countries, but in 2021, the industry is likely to grow in almost all these countries.
