Advanced pneumatic conveying systems for cement plants

Although there is a huge variety of existing bulk transportation solutions, cement companies often rely on both mechanical and pneumatic systems. Since many modern pneumatic transportation systems are similar to mechanical ones in terms of energy consumption, they can be a solution for transporting cement, raw meal feed and some other bulk materials at various stages of the technological process, providing, among other things, top-notch flexibility of the feeding route. A joint article by IBAU HAMBURG (Germany) and ZAO Rybnitsky cement combined works (Moldova) provides an overview of several joint projects in which modern pneumatic transport systems have been successfully used.
