Cement grinding steel balls

PAO Severstal produces grinding balls 20-100 mm in diameter, 2-5 hardness category. Modern ball production equipment (one of the units was commissioned at the end of 2020) and strict process control ensure high quality and high consumer properties of the products. A personalized service approach helps to reduce the specific consumption of balls in industrial cement mills. This is achieved by analysing customer processes and selecting the optimal chemical composition of steel and the ball geometry based on such steel. The mathematical simulation of the process at the Severstal's research center ensures the accuracy of calculations.
