Automatic control of emissions from stationary sources

Russian legislation stipulates the necessity to equip rotary kilns at cement clinker and lime plants with automatic continuous monitoring devices to control pollutant emissions. The article describes CEMS 2000 automatic industrial emissions monitoring system by Group IMC company that can be utilized in cement plants. The system provides the measured pollution data to state environmental monitoring control centers via a separate link, as well as feeding it to automated production control systems.
