Effect of technological additives on the characteristics of cement powders
The paper considers the influence of technological additives introduced during cement grinding on fineness and rheological characteristics of cement powders. The mobility of the powder was evaluated by the mass of the material passed through the sieve and the Hausner index. It was found that the effect of additives on the grinding process and the mobility of powders depends on the structural features of organic molecules, for which the polarizability was evaluated, and on the difference of functional groups contained in them.Author: L.D.
