Automated solution of the problems of loose material hang-up in industrial facilities

Automated systems of pneumatic caving of loose materials ISTA 3 and ISTA 4, produced by OOO NPP ISTA (Saint-Petersburg) have been helping the enterprises of Russia, the CIS countries and the EU get rid of bridging and overhanging of hard-flowing materials in silos, bunkers, furnaces, heat exchangers, gas ducts, filters and other industrial facilities for 30 years. The main part of the ISTA pneumatic caving systems, which distinguishes them from other systems of similar purpose, are fast-acting valves, the opening time of which is no more than 5 ms. The use of ISTA systems makes it possible to significantly reduce the irreducible rest of material, prevent spoilage of raw materials, reduce the number of production downtime required to service the hoppers, and also contributes to the elimination of personnel injuries. They consume compressed air sparingly and act directly on the bulk material and not on the walls of the facility. A wide range of sizes as well as heat-resistant and explosion-proof designs and experience of successful projects at more than 10,000 sites allow the company to take into account the specifics of each plant.
