Highly efficient shredding of waste in RDF production

Nowadays, cement manufacturers are increasingly feeding refuse-derived fuels not only to the main burner, but also to the preheater. The material for the latter does not have to have the same particle size as is needed in the main burner. What is more, the calorific value may also be lower. With the VEZ 3200, Vecoplan is supplying a solution which can shred various materials in a single-stage or two-stage process with pre-shredding and secondary shredding – with different particle sizes as required.
