Experience in the selection of alloy composition in the production of consumables for crushing and grinding equipment
The comparative results of chromium alloys developed by the specialists of OOO Metallurg-Project are presented. Liner plates made of chromium alloy, installed in the grinding equipment of various types for grinding of highly abrasive materials, after long-term operation have fully preserved their serviceability for further operation, unlike similar plates made of manganese steel of 110G13L grade. The average specific consumption of grinding bodies made of chromium iron is 45 g per 1 ton of crushed material, which is much lower than for steel balls obtained by methods of hot plastic deformation of the blank.
