Modern grinding rolls: cost effectiveness and durability

The article gives an example of the successful conversion of a high-pressure grinding roll (HPGR) by installing patented, highly wear-resistant HEXADUR® rolls, an open cycle hydraulic system with reciprocating pistons and a feeding system from Koeppern, Germany. As a result, the service life of the press components in-creased significantly and maintenance was reduced. The customer achieved a return on investment within two years of operation.
