Sanitizing dry mixtures: material requirements and specifics of selecting the composition

The article deals with the mechanism of preventing salt corrosion of masonry by using sanitizing plasters. The results of the research of the influence of porous fillers of different nature (perlite and foam glass) on the efficiency of protective com-positions made by means of experiment planning are discussed in the article. The revealed regularities and proposed meth-ods of assessment of sanitizing mortars can be used for selecting compositions of highly effective dry mixes for the protection of masonry structures.
