Physical and mechanical properties of cement with the addition of flotation tailings of lead-zinc production

The article considers the possibility of using flotation tailings of the lead-zinc enrichment factory (LZEF) at the Almalyk mining-and-metallurgical combine as a mineral additive instead of the natural burnt clay. The physical and mechanical properties of cement containing the additive from LZEF in different quantities have been determined, the processes of hydration and hardening have been studied. The results of experimental tests under production conditions are given.
