Cement industry in Japan

The data on the corporate structure of the Japanese cement industry, its facilities, cement production and consumption, exports and imports of cement and clinker are provided. In 2020, Japan produced 48.6 Mt of clinker and 57.1 Mt of cement; 5.0 Mt of cement and 6.0 Mt of clinker were exported from the country. Information is given on investments in the construction sector, raw materials and fuels used (including alternatives), and the range of cement products.
