Cement concrete as a factor to reduce the carbon footprint

The Strategy of development of the construction sector till 2030 which was approved by the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation with the forecast till 2035 points out the necessity to reduce the carbon footprint of construction because growth of  CO2 content in the atmosphere is one of the reasons of the Earth's climate warming. This article analyzes the factors which allow to make a significant contribution to this problem by using the main construction material - cement concrete.
