Iran cement industry overview

Cement production in Iran in 1400 according to the Iranian calendar (March 21, 2021 — March 20, 2022) amounted to about 62.7 million tons. Approximately 66% of this amount was produced by the plants of the 6 largest cement holdings in the country. Of the 78 operating enterprises, 16 have a design capacity of more than 1.5 million tons of cement per year. In 2022, per capita cement consumption in Iran was close to 750 kg.
