Dependence of vibrating mill capacity on its design and technological parameters

The analysis of the existing designs of grinding mills, their advantages and disadvantages is carried out, the preferable field of application is shown. Various constructive variants of vibrating mills and the principle of their operation are considered. A fundamentally new design of vibrating mill with polyharmonic vibrations of the grinding chamber is described. The regression equation for calculating the mill productivity depending on the main design and technological parameters of its operation — the frequency of vibrations and the coefficient of filling the grinding chamber with grinding bodies, as well as on the position of eccentric weights relative to the center of gravity of the grinding chamber. The results of experimental studies are analyzed. The influence of each of the factors and the effects of their interaction on the formation of the value of the response function — the productivity of the mill has been established. Conclusions are made about rational modes of operation of the vibrating mill, at which its maximum productivity is achieved.
