Experience of using microsilica in commercial concrete

The method of activation of the aqueous suspension of microsilica (MS) by ultrasonic treatment in combination with inorganic stabilizer is considered. The particle size distribution of the activated suspension was determined. The stability of the suspension for at least 6 months was achieved. It is shown that its introduction into concrete composition allows to obtain strength not lower than that of dry MS.
