Production of white Portland cement in TOO Sastobe Technologies

Enriched limestone, kaolins of Kokshetau and Angren deposits as well as granulated phosphorus slag were investigated in TOO Sastobe Technologies for production of white cement clinkers. As a result of lab tests and then production tests of the kiln with dimensions ∅ 4 × 150 m it was found that with burning of two- and three-component raw material charges at a temperature of 1450-1500 °C white clinkers can be produced of the 1st and 2nd grades with whiteness up to 82-85 %. In the course of production tests more than 1 kt of white clinker with whiteness of 81 - 82 % was produced.
