Use of semi-adiabatic calorimetry to evaluate the influence of formulation factors on the heat release kinetics of cement
A technique for studying the hydration processes of cement compositions has been developed using semi-adiabatic calorimetry. The pilot plant with removable heat-insulating shells, which provides the possibility of modeling the conditions of concrete hardening in the real structures, has been designed. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology in solving applied problems related to the evaluation of the activity of cements and their functional compatibility with additives is shown.Author: V.A.
