Markets of dry building mortars of Central Asian countries

The article reviews the markets of dry building mortars of Central Asian (CA) countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. In 2023, the total consumption of the mortars in these countries amounted to about 2.5 million tons, increasing by 12% compared to the figure of 2022. Information is provided on the specifics of the markets of mixes in the CA countries: the share of imports, shares of mixes with different binders, market concentration. The prospects for market development in the coming years are assessed.
