Self-compacting concrete in casting of tall structural sections

The requirements to the inner containment of the reactor building of nuclear power plants are listed in the article. The specifics of concrete structures of the inner containment and methods of their erection are given. The characteristics of the developed concrete mix with adjustable setting time at elevated temperatures are presented and its use in the construction of the containment is described.
