Centrifugal counterflow mill with classification of material in the loading zone
The design of a centrifugal counterflow mill with classification of material in the loading zone is discussed in the article. Separation of fine particles from the coarse fraction before the particles collide in the frontal and intersecting streams in the tangential channel of the mill will increase the efficiency of grinding. The function of separating the fine particles from the coarse ones is performed by semicircular grooves radially located on the mill disks. It was found that the condition when fine particles fall into these grooves is determined by the angle of curved blades installed on the mill disk. On this basis, an analytical dependence between the depth of the groove and the engineering parameters of the mill is obtained, allowing to determine the value of this angle. This dependence determines the condition when a particle of material passes over a radially located groove. The results of this article can be used in the design of centrifugal counterflow mills, as well as in the academic process.Author: I.A. Semikopenko, V.P. Voronov, D.A. Belyaev |
