Designing the lining of ball drum mills

The possibility of regulating the mode of motion of grinding media by means of a new classifying lining is shown. The regulation of the grinding process of material particles in each chamber of the drum mill has been revealed. A calculation scheme is presented to determine the rational design parameters of the lining. A calculation method is proposed, based on the obtained mathematical expressions, constructive and energy parameters of the lining, allowing to determine the kinetic and potential energy of grinding media, taking into account the lining design and the speed modes of rotation of the mill drum. Graphical materials of the calculation results and their analysis are presented.
