Compensation of shrinkage deformations of fine-grained concretes for cast-in-situ vibration-loaded structures
The effect of shrinkage deformations of cement compositions being reduced when additives, surface tension modifiers, are introduced in the composition, has been studied. It was established that it is advisable to use additives based on ethylene glycol ethers in this capacity. Their effectiveness is ensured by reducing the surface tension of tempering solutions by 40-45%. The compatibility of additives with cement, determined by semi-adiabatic calorimetry, indicates an insignificant effect of butyl cellosolve on the kinetics of heat release by the hydrating system in comparison with the plasticizer.
