In recent years, cement consumption and production have grown rapidly in Tanzania. This article presents the corporate structure and key performance indicators of the country's cement industry, as well as their forecast for the period up to 2028. The total annual production capacity of the country's cement enterprises is expected to increase from approximately 13 Mt in 2023 to 15 Mt in 2028, and cement consumption, respectively, from 8 Mt to 12 Mt.
