Inline analysers: is import substitution possible?
Conveyor labeled neutrons-based analyser AGP-K allows obtaining data on the elemental composition of the material on the conveyor belt every 40 seconds. The labeled neutron method consists of irradiating a substance with fast neutrons with energy of 14 MeV and recording the characteristic gamma radiation emitted during inelastic neutron scattering reactions.
