Binders on the basis of wastes of mining and metals sector of Kuzbass
Energy and resource saving allow to optimize the costs of the business, thus ensuring its competitiveness. Addressing the problems of resource-saving in construction technologies is currently of particular relevance and is one of the main directions for improving production processes. The article deals with the possibility of using mechanically recycled secondary man-made products of metals and mining operations as alternative resources in the production of construction materials. Involvement of these wastes in the stream of commerce can contribute to resource saving and environmental remediation. Binders have been developed, which contain smelter slags, burnt rock from mine dumps and sludge produced by neutralizing the electrolyte of spent acid batteries with slaked lime. Also, these binders have been used to develop materials for various purposes. The obtained materials were successfully tested by the construction industry.
