Russian gypsum market: 2024 results and short-term forecast

The article presents the main statistics of the gypsum market in Russia for 2024: volumes and trends of gypsum stone mining, data on the gypsum binder and gypsum building materials markets. The main attention is paid to the situation in the gypsum plasterboard (GPB) and tongue-and-groove slabs (TGS) markets, and forecasts for the coming years are given. The gypsum stone market grew slightly in 2024, while binder consumption dropped a little. The GPB and TGS markets continued the trends that emerged in 2023: gypsum plasterboard sales increased, while TGS consumption decreased.
