The article provides basic data on the cement industry in Indonesia. In 2024, the country produced 67.8 million tons of cement, which is 1.3% more than in 2023. The article highlights the changes in demand and supply for cement in the country in recent years, as well as their dependence on economic conditions. The prospects for the development of the cement industry in Indonesia from the point of view of ecology and economics are considered.
