The article presents the results of updating and developing standards in the field of non-metallic construction materials in 2025. The potential for using standardization tools in developing a sector wide quality infrastructure is demonstrated. The importance of developing mechanisms and approaches that enable consensus within the expert community for the development of standards that meet industry needs is highlighted.
