Russian gypsum market: results for 2025 and short-term forecast

The figures of the Russian gypsum market in 2025 are reviewed — the volumes and trends of production of gypsum rock, gypsum binders, gypsum building materials, and also a forecast for the coming years is given. The main attention is paid to the situation in the markets of gypsum plasterboard (GPB) and tongue-and-groove boards (TGB): data on the volumes and dynamics of their sales are provided, and the shares of the main ac-tors in these markets are given. The gypsum stone market in 2025 decreased by 10 % following a reduction in the demand for raw materials from major consumers. Consumption of gypsum binders decreased by 8 %. A decline in sales volumes was recorded in almost all segments of the gypsum market.
